• REC (Sales Seminars)

    The Challenge

The REC is the trade association for the recruitment and staffing industry in the UK. It has some 6,000 corporate members and 6,000 individual members representing over 50% of the total recruitment industry in the UK.

The REC Professional Development Department identified that they wished to outsource the delivery of a sales and new business development seminar series across the UK, so set itself apart from competitors by being the recruitment industry's recognised expert on current industry trends.

The focus of each seminar was to offer direct and measurable value to all the attendees, and provide them with actions they could immediately implement back in their workplaces.

    The Solution

Following a period of consultation and discussion with both the REC and other companies within the recruitment market, Innergy developed a programme of seminars, known as "Shattering the Sales Barrier".

The seminars were designed to be highly interactive, stimulating and challenging for attendees, and carefully considered the different levels of experience of attendees as well as the diverse sector market of the REC membership.

    The Outcome

Over a period of five months, Innergy delivered the Shattering the Sales Barrier seminar to over 350 member organisations of the REC throughout the UK, with a total positive feedback rating of 99.2% from attendees.

According to the REC, this has been the most successful and well-received seminar series in their history.

    What they said..

"I wanted to take the opportunity to formally thank you for the contribution you have made through the recent seminars. It is rare to come across someone who has managed to so successfully enthuse large and diverse groups of individuals. I am confident in saying that the image of the REC has been significantly enhanced through the seminars and that this has paved the way for future regional activity.

In addition, I have been extremely impressed with the quality of trainers you have supplied to other REC events, sometimes at very short notice.

James, I wish you every success in your future ventures and look forward to building on the relationship between yourself and the REC.
