The founders of Sphere recognised that the businesses success and significant growth they had enjoyed was also a potential risk moving forward. The decision was made to invest in the leaders and future leaders of the business to ensure all existing and future employees of the Sphere team were developed, inspired and supported and the unique culture at Sphere was protected.
Innergy were asked to develop and deliver two Leadership and Management programmes for existing and future leaders, to equip them with the confidence and ability to inspire high levels of performance and engagement.
Innergy invested time to understand the specific culture and challenges faced by the business. The solution was two leadership and management development programme delivered in bite-sized chunks – one for existing managers and one for emerging leaders.
The programme exposed the team to practical and proven tips and techniques to inspire and manage high performing teams. The senior leaders in the business has the opportunity to develop their strategic thinking as well as business and team leadership. The emerging leaders were provided with the management essentials to enable them to step up and deliver as high performing billing managers.
The 2 programmes were delivered over a 6-month period. The programmes:
- Contributed directly to sales successes, revenue generation and enhanced client relationships.
- Contributed to Sphere Digital Recruitment being voted the UK’s best recruiter by the APSCO, the recruitment membership body
- Led to even better alignment and focus across the senior leader and billing manager team.
- Helped the management team, existing and future, understand how to protect the positive culture and team spirit through growth
- Enabled succession planning within Sphere, helping the leadership team develop and identify the leaders of the future
