Good Accountants, Great Leaders, Fantastic Results

At a recent CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) meeting, Craig Stoddart from Innergy, a CIMA qualified accountant himself, was invited to deliver a highly interactive training program to over 60 accountants at Bath Racecourse.  

As with many internal functions in organisations, the ability for finance departments to build a strong reputation, deliver great service and communicate effectively is vital in becoming a wholly integrated business improvement function.  

The forum allowed delegates to share some of their experiences with others as well as pick up some best practice techniques and approaches for improving the reputation of their finance teams and themselves with their internal customers. 

CIMA is the world’s largest and leading professional body of management accountants. They have 172,000 members and students in 165 countries. Their members and students work in industry, commerce and not for profit organisations.
