Innergy's Craig Stoddart Helps Find Next Year's Tycoons at Flux 2011

Posted: Apr 8, 2011

Flux is the biggest enterprise and employability competition for University students in the UK. Think Dragons Den meets The Apprentice! 250 students representing 33 Universities will be attending FLUX2011 on April 12th in Bristol at the newly developed Bristol Skills Academy. Many of the students will have been through rigorous selection events so they represent the cream of graduate talent at UK universities. Over the last six years FLUX has involved 30,000 students from 100 Universities across the UK.

Each year, top business people are invited to support the students with their knowledge and experience. For the second year, Innergy’s Craig Stoddart has been asked as an expert to coach the graduates and judge their entrepreneurial talent to find the ultimate winning team as they fight for the £3,000 prize.

“It is an amazing event, where the real creativity and energy of youth combine to focus on building a winning business idea. The graduates work solidly for 48 hours to show the natural abilities as future business leaders. Last year, there were some truly impressive budding entrepreneurs. I am looking forward to seeing what the cream of this year’s crop has to offer.” says Craig.

FLUX is run by Working Knowledge - A Social Enterprise dedicated to Bridging the Gap between Education and the Workplace. Click here to see the highlights of last year FLUX final!
