Full Event Description:

The workshop is facilitated over a full day and broken down into five distinct sections:

Resourcing Part 1 

Resourcing is an integral part of any consultant’s role and as such this training module covers:

  • Candidate qualification,
  • Data protection,
  • Database management,
  • Writing and publishing classified adverts,
  • New candidate development and candidate management.

Resourcing Part 2

The Resourcing Part 2 module will further develop consultants resourcing understanding by covering:

  • Using social media to network,
  • Developing an advertising strategy,
  • Advanced candidate generation,
  • Headhunting,
  • Detailed candidate management and control.

Taking a Brief

Taking an accurate brief to enable the consultant to fill the role is a crucial part of the recruitment process. This module goes through the brief process from start to finish:

  • Understanding the different types of briefs (perm/contract/temp),
  • Creating actions plans,
  • Qualifying a brief,
  • Understanding candidate benefits,
  • Having a successful recruitment plan,
  • Handling difficult clients
  • Taking a brief face to face.

Managing the Recruitment Process

A consultant should understand the management of the recruitment process; this module coaches the consultant through:

  • Managing the full recruitment process,
  • The different ways of communicating with clients and candidates,
  • Time management and planning,
  • Negotiating,
  • Maintaining a successful attitude.

Candidate Selection and Matching

Ensuring the client is presented with candidates matching their needs is important to ensure you are providing the client with a service they are happy with. This module takes the consultant through:

  • Interviewing candidates,
  • Managing expectations,
  • Delivering a candidate offer,
  • Creating and building good relationships,
  • Using questions to get the right information,
  • Re-qualifying candidates.

Legal Compliance (online takeaway module)

It is important that every recruitment consultant understands legal compliance in the recruitment industry and as such Innergy have developed a unique library of recruitment legal eLearning courses, in association with APSCo and DWF, the UK’s leading law firm.
