Stan James plc leaders in web-based gaming solutions, recently acquired a contact centre business based in the UK. Stan James plc, which is wholly based in Gibraltar, offered the UK based employees the opportunity and support to relocate to Gibraltar, or take a redundancy package.
Stan James approached Innergy to deliver a program of support for the staff who chose to take the offer of redundancy, to best prepare them for the task of sourcing new employment.
Following a series of review meetings with various members of the Stan James management team and employee representatives, Innergy produced a series of outplacement workshops to be hosted over a 24 hour period to ensure employees working on different shifts were able to attend.
The objective of the workshops were to coach, support, train and guide Stan James’ employees back into new employment, though the development of their awareness, attitudes and skills of self-marketing and promotion.
On completion of each of the workshops, attendees were provided with ongoing telephone coaching to ensure that they were further supported in their job searching efforts.
By the end of the program, the feedback from all staff was unanimous in that they felt more confident, more able and more positive about their future careers.
Each attendee developed a fully comprehensive action plan to source new job opportunities, and coupled with their new candidate toolkit and the skills they had learned in the workshops, were provided with the best possible chance to quickly find new employment.
"We wanted to ensure that our staff were given the very best opportunity to find new jobs after they leave us and for many this was a very daunting prospect, with some having worked with us now for over 20 years.
The approach Innergy took was efficient and effective, consistently addressing both individual and organisational needs. The style of training and support was motivational and very thorough, and the feedback from everyone who attended was incredibly positive.
I am extremely confident that the support Innergy have provided will ensure many of them will be back in employment in a very short space of time and I am very grateful for the work they have done."
