Innergy are pleased to announce the completion of a highly succssful round of training interventions with the United Nation's International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (ISDR).
The United Nation's ISDR aims at building disaster resilient communities by promoting increased awareness of the importance of disaster reduction as an integral component of sustainable development, with the goal of reducing human, social, economic and environmental losses due to natural hazards and related technological and environmental disasters.
The geographically diverse and time hungry nature of their work makes opportunities for the training and upskilling of employees a significant, yet critical challenge for the ISDR.
In the spring of this year, Innergy opened up it's online, e-learning system to the head of External and Donor Relations within the ISDR, providing access to a tailored suite of web-based training modules, accessible at any time and from anywhere in the world.
To ensure participation and assessment of outcomes achieved, a schedule of training was agreed and results measured via the office of External and Donor Relations' unique account management area hosted on Innergy's secure web portal.
"The online solution provided by Innergy perfectly met our requirements." commented Marc Gordon (Head, External and Donor Relations), "It provided us with short, easy-to-use but highly effective training modules in a way that gave us both flexibility as well as accuracy in its delivery."
