Leadership in Learning

Innergy have been asked to join the RAF and other leading organisations to work with children and develop their leadership skills.

In a highly innovative initiative, 14 year olds will have the chance to understand and develop leadership skills in a program initiated by Sefton Education Business Partnership.

The program, which runs in November 2009, will offer enterprising students with the skills, qualities and knowledge to be the future leaders and help them understand that while the knowledge they learn at school is invaluable, the skills they develop are critical to achieving their goals.

Innergy’s Gordon Stoddart, who will be running the program on behalf of Innergy said: “It’s a great idea – I would have loved to have been exposed to this sort of thing while at school, it might have made all the difference!! This is right in line with our value of putting back into the community, so we are delighted to be able to help out.”
