    The Challenge

    Coffee Nation, which operates over 550 self-serve gourmet coffee machines in outlets including service station operator Welcome Break and supermarkets Tesco and Somerfield, was set up in 1996. It has been expanded to be the leading player in the market and has enjoyed significant growth.

    Key to the ongoing growth was the protection of the brand. This was the role of the Brand Guardian, a team with responsibility of building relationships and providing training to the people to staff on the sites. Innergy were asked to support Coffee Nation in recruiting a number of Brand Guardians across the UK.

    The Solution

    Innergy consulted Coffee Nation senior management in depth to comprehensively evaluate and understand the roles and culture of Coffee Nation and used its Talenteering approach to source and present a pre-assessed shortlist of highly suitable candidates to the Coffee Nation resourcing managers.

    The Outcome

    The results of Innergy’s Talenteering programme successfully enabled the Coffee Nation resourcing panel build their Brand Guardian team in line with the recruitment brief and on time.
